Why I Released Gladiator Command While Others Wait
Some indie devs wait years polishing the perfect trailer, the perfect UI, the perfect feature set.
Not me.
Gladiator Command is out now — brutal, unfinished, raw, and most likely still full of bugs lol — and it's live on itch.io.
I could’ve waited for Steam. Waited for a marketing budget. Waited for perfect art.
But I’m not building a golden coffin for a game nobody plays.
In Gladiator Command, you’re not a hero.
You’re the one who buys them. Trains them. Watches them die.
🩸 Gladiators have permanent death
⚔️ Combat is passive but tactical
🚫 No ads. No tricks. Just training, blood, and coin.
✅ Built in Godot
✅ Real progression
✅ Real consequences
✅ Fully playable in browser
✅ Steam version coming soon

While other devs disappear waiting for “ready,” I’ll be shipping updates, testing features, and grinding toward 1.0.
I will not burn out.
To the end. RAWRRRR.
One slight note: I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing — LOL.
I started making a game 5 months ago. Never touched programming, game dev, or anything code-related before.
I just wanted a tiny project — one scene, one script.
Somehow… it turned into this.
Now I’m addicted. And I’m not stopping.
